Synchronized or Paralleled Gensets

Parallel operation of gensets is the synchronising of voltage and frequency of two or more gensets such that the electrical output of the gensets are connected to a common bus.

High power demands to be met by paralleled gensets when the output of one genset is inadequate.

Gensets to be operated at optimum fuel efficiency by increasing or reducing the number of gensets in operation to suit electrical demand.

Critical power availability without interruption as redundant gensets in parallel are able to immediately pick up the load without interruption in power supply when any genset unexpectedly fails.
